Whitney Houston Songs

Whitney Houston Songs, Mp3, Video, Radio, Remix:
Whitney Houston's first dance music single was "Someone for Me" from her self titled 1985 debut CD. Ironically for the artist who went on to become one of the best selling female vocalists ever, the single did not chart.
"How Will I Know", the second dance single release, however, went all the way to #1 on the Hot 100. The remix version by Junior Vasquez also became Houston's first #1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club/Play Chart. To keep the momentum going, the label commissioned Vasquez to remix "Greatest Love of All" and that track also hit the top of the U.S. dance chart.
In 1987, Arista released "Whitney", the sophmore CD. That set's lead single, "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)", became the artist's biggest hit to that date. The Junior Vasquez remix was Houston's third hit in the U.S. dance clubs. Two more dance hits followed, "So Emotional (David Morales)" and "Love Will Save the Day (Jellybean/David Morales)".
Three years later, Houston's label released her third CD and the single "I'm Your Baby Tonight". The remix by Dronez had success in the clubs and one further track, namely "My Name is Not Susan", was a dance hit in Europe.
In 1992, the artist appeared in the hit film "The Bodyguard". She recorded a cover of the Dolly Parton track "I Will Always Love You" for the soundtrack and the song and the CD went on to break sales records worldwide. Hex Hector remixed "I Will Always Love You" for the clubs where it became a dance floor staple. "I'm Every Woman" was released as a followup dance single and was remixed by the then redhot Civilles & Cole of "Everybody Dance Now" fame.
After "I'm Every Woman", Houston's club heat cooled until 1996 when she released "Step by Step" from "The Preacher's Wife" soundtrack. The success of the remix by Junior Vasquez set the stage for her outstanding comeback two years later.
In 1998, Houston released her first full length studio CD since 1990. "My Love is Your Love" spawned four #1 Billboard Dance Club/Play Hits: "Heartbreak Hotel (Hex Hector)", "It's Not Right, But It's OK (Thunderpuss)", "My Love is Your Love (Jonathan Peters)", and "I Learned From the Best (HQ2)". The Thunderpuss remix of "It's Not Right, But It's OK" became such an enormous worldwide hit that the duo was credited by some critics with saving Houston's career. One final dance track "If I Told You That" had success in Europe.
To capitalize on the upswing in the artist's commercial fortunes, Arista head Clive Davis released her first Greatest Hits CD in April, 2000. Two more tracks from that CD were released to club DJs: "Same Script, Different Cast", a duet with Deborah Cox, and "Fine".
By 2002, Whitney Houston's personal problems were eclipsing her music career. In that climate and amid label changes that saw Davis leave Arista, she released "Just Whitney". Though the CD has disappointing sales, it spawned three more dance hits: "Whatchulookinat", "Try It on My Own" and "Love That Man". The Thunderpuss remix of "Try It on My Own" was one of the duo's best remixes and marked one of their last.
In 2007, news broke that Houston had re-united with her mentor Clive Davis and was in the studio recording a new CD. That CD of new Whitney Houston songs is expected to be released sometime in 2008.
