Mariah Carey is one of the bestselling female artists in the world. Since her debut CD in 1990 she has racked up sales of CDs and Singles in the Tens of Millions.

"Touch My Body", the first single from her current CD "E=MC2", put Mariah in range of breaking the all time record for the most #1 singles. She could just do it with the singles from this CD alone. Her second single "Bye Bye" is already climbing the charts and "I'm That Chick" and "I'm Still in Love" are also earmarked for release.

On the personal front, it is rumoured that Mariah recently wed in the Bahamas. If true, this would mark her first marriage since her divorce from industry heavyweight Tommy Matolla.
