Janet Jackson Songs

Janet Jackson Songs:
Janet Jackson has been one of clubland's reigning divas since the release of her 1986 CD "Control". The CD spawned a string of five dance music hits: "What Have You Done for Me Lately", "Nasty", "When I Think of You", "Control" and "The Pleasure Principal". The hits continued for so long that it would be three more years before Jackson released a new dance CD.
Nineteen Eighty-Nine's "Rhythm Nation 1814" kicked off with the lead single "Miss You Much". And like it's predecessor, it contained two year's worth of dance singles, including title track "Rhythm Nation", "Escapade", and "Love Will Never Do (Without You)".
In 1993, the artist released her multi-platinum selling dance music set "janet". By now the fans knew the drill: a string of club hits beginning with "That's the Way Love Goes" and followed by "If", "Because of Love", and "You Want This".
Jackson teamed with her brother in 1995 for the duet "Scream" from his Greatest Hits CD "HIStory". Later that same year, she released her own hits compilation CD "Design of a Decade" and two more hit singles: "Runaway" and "Twenty Foreplay".
In 1996, the dance music artist released her next full length studio CD "The Velvet Rope". The set included "Go Deep" and one of her biggest dance hits ever "Together Again", a tribute to a friend who had died from AIDS.
Prior to the release of 2001's "All for You" CD, Jackson took a detour with the film track "Doesn't Really Matter" from the movie "Nutty Professor II". Then came the #1 Billboard Dance Club/Play Chart single "All for You", the club only track "Come On Get Up" and the Hex Hector remix of "Someone to Call My Lover".
The next two CDs from Jackson represented a low point in her career with sales well below her previous releases and singles that failed to place in the mainstream charts. She still ruled the dance floors, however, on such tracks as "All Nite (Don't Stop)" and "R&B Junkie" from "Damita Jo"(2004). Her tally of dance chart hits continued to rise with 2006's "20 Y.O." CD and it's singles "Call on Me" and "So Excited".
In early 2008, Jackson came back with a new sound on the single "Feedback" from the CD "Discipline". "Discipline" has already spawned two further dance singles "Rock With U" and "Can't B Good".
