Dance Mixes

Dance Mixes:
From the beginning of her career, Amber has been marketed as a dance music diva. It was a "given", therefore, that her hits would be remixed for the clubs.
In 1996, her label Tommy Boy comissioned remixes for her debut single "This is Your Night". The most popular mix of the batch was the Junior Vasquez "Sunday Night Bump" mix.
For the followup, the label chose "The Color of Love". Although there were a number of remixes, most noteably by Mousse T, they did not do as well as the previous track.
The next single, however, went all the way to #1 on the Billboard Dance Club/Play Chart. "One More Night" as remixed by Hani and Junior Vasquez (promo only) has become a Nineties retro night staple.
Amber's next release was "If You Could Read My Mind" which was remixed by Hex Hector. The success of that track and the exposure that Amber received from it, set the stage for the artist to rise above the masses to club superstardom.
"Sexual (Li Da Di)" was the first single from Amber's sophmore CD. The remix by Thunderpuss set the dance floors on fire and made Amber a worldwide dance music superstar.
She followed that success with a string of hit club remixes, including "Above the Clouds" (Jonathan Peters, Thunderpuss), "Love One Another" (Pathos V2, Junior Vasquez), "Yes" (HQ2), and "The Need to Be Naked" (Guido Osario, Thunderpuss).
In 2004, Amber changed directions musically to a darker, more rock oriented sound. She released remixes for "You Move Me" (Mike Cruz, House Deluxe), "Voodoo" (Sweet Rains, Ugly Doll), and "Just Like That" (Jason Nevins), all of which received heavy play in the clubs and on dance radio.
In 2007, she came back with a new single "Melt With the Sun" remixed by a who's who of DJs, including Hex Hector, Tracy Yong, Al B. Rich, and others. Her most recent release is a re-recording of "This is Your Night (2008)" remixed by PathosV2.
