Although Donna Summer's songs were mixed for the dance floors since the Seventies, her first track to be released as a Maxi Single Remix EP was "Melody of Love". The David Morales remix of that track was released in 1994.
"Whenever There is Love", from the movie "Daylight", was the next track from Summer to be remixed. Although the song was released as a commercial single, the "promo only" mix by Junior Vasquez was not included on the CD.

"Carry On" was initially issued in 1992 but that commercial single contained only an "extended remix". It was later re-issued as a dance club remix maxi single twice, in 1995 and again in 1997. The 1995 version included remixes by Chris Cox (Thunderpuss) and Eric Kupper, while the 1997 mixes were by Almighty.
"Carry On" was followed by two single releases from 1999's "Live and More...Encore!" CD: "I Will Go With You (Con Te Partiro)" and "Love is the Healer". Hex Hector, Warren Rigg, Rosabel, and Club 69 (Peter Rauhofer) did the mix for "I Will Go With You". "Love is the Healer" was remixed by Thunderpuss and Eric Kupper.
In 2000, Donna released another movie song, this time from Pokemon. "The Power of One" was remixed for the clubs by Jonathon Peters.
Of the recent Donnna Summer dance remixes, "You're So Beautiful" (Tony Moran), "I Will Live for Love" and "The Power of Love" (Offer Nissim), only one, "I Got Your Love", was released as a maxi single. "I Got Your Love" was remixed by Ralphi Rosario and Eddie Baez.
